Bill Cobey and Linda Daves to Lead Hal Jordan’s Statewide Campaign Committee

Jordan Campaign Attracts Support From Across North Carolina

Two former State Chairmen of the North Carolina Republican Party have been named Co-Chairmen of the Hal Jordan for Congress Statewide Steering Committee.  Bill Cobey of Chapel Hill, a former Congressman who led the NCGOP from 1999 through 2003 and Linda Daves of Charlotte, who chaired the State Party from 2006 until 2009, are leading a group of Republicans from across North Carolina who are supporting Hal’s campaign.

In a joint letter to Republicans across North Carolina, Cobey and Daves stated that they were “proud to support Hal’s campaign because of the high caliber of his character and the tremendous experience he brings to the race.”  The letter further states that Cobey and Daves believe that Jordan is “the strongest candidate to win back our 8th District seat.”
