Terrorism continues to be one of the greatest threats to our country. The U.S. must not lose its resolve to win the long war on global terror by pursuing terrorists before they can assemble and plan additional atrocities against our nation and our allies.

Hal Jordan will support our nation’s efforts against terrorism by voting to ensure our troops have the funding and equipment they need to succeed. He also wants to strengthen our alliances with NATO and other organizations that will assist us in our efforts to secure a more permanent peace.

In addition, we must care for our veterans who have served us so well. North Carolina’s Eighth District is home to many veterans, and Hal Jordan is strongly committed to honoring their service by supporting enhancement of survivor benefits and improvement in the quality of Veterans’ Administration health services. We owe those who have sacrificed so much no less than this.
