Hal Jordan has pledged to vote against all taxes increases as a member of Congress. Jordan is a pro-growth conservative who understands that the best way to create jobs and opportunities is to cut taxes and reduce regulations on business.  Jordan will fight to cut personal and corporate income tax rates, and will work to eliminate the inheritance tax and the capital gains tax. Finally, Jordan supports tax reforms such as the Flat Tax and the Fair Tax.  He will fight for policies which drastically reduce the complexity of the tax code, make the system fairer and more transparent, while shrinking the size and power of the IRS.
